Shameless bump, cause this thread needs to be up top.
Just saw some new threads about a girl receiving her dad's leg, another being burned in a car accident, in almost every thread some anti-america feelings and on the other hand some american-toomuchpatriotism, some thread where 967627162781 guys try to explain why a war is a the right thing to do, some more gross pictures, some thread about guns and why they re so cool and more and more and more... Back in depression Need some *fresh* joy-posts (thaz my new drug).

Well Masklin considering you are french maybe you will find this a little funnier than others.
I have a french student who is a exchange student in my chemistry class. He rarely speaks and has a very heavy accent. Monday we were taking some notes and the teacher mentioned something about a french chemist. Out of nowhere comes this little french kid who yells out "YAY FRANCE!!!" It was by far the funniest thing thats happen in that class all year. It surely made that class better and more joyful. I don't know if this belongs in this thread, but it has been snowing all yesterday and is snowing still, and from where I live (on the heights surrounding Grenoble) the view is incredibly beautiful.
I couldn't go to work today - too much snow (I know, some Swedes will tell me I am a wuss, but Wolfie, driving in snow doesn't bother me much as long as it is on flat ground, while here, if I slip it is ravine time ) - I will work at home today. Do you have snow too in Paris, Masklinn ? [ 01-30-2003, 07:32 AM: Message edited by: Moiraine ]

It snowed the whole night through over here. Therefore the streets have been quiet a mess in the morning - snow on the streets and such. Normally I like it this way, because your car has better grip than on ice...
BUT - this time it's been ice on the street with snow covering it!!! Extremely dangerous even more because you never know if the other drivers out there are aware of the danger as well. When I arrived at the office I called immediately my wife at her work - she arrived safe! This made me happy and I'll be even more happy of course, when I see her this evening at home.

The snow should come in Paris this afternoon or this evening, for now it's just very cold and windy....bleeeeeh...
BUT ! This morning in the subway i was listening to Bill Withers on my CD player, and he was singing : Then i look at you, And the world's alright with me, Just one look at you, And I know it's gonna be, A lovely day A lovely day A lovely day A lovely day "A lovely day", what a lovely sentence
