I plan to have a go at EfU sometime this weekend, and was wondering what level I should start as - I intend to have a bit of a mosey around just as a solo player to get a feel for the mod.

I believe the official word from Ziroc is that level 7 is a sensible minimum. Maybe so, if you have a good party with you, but I would suggest level 12 as a more sensible minimum. Thats assuming you take decent gear along, loads of Heal potions, loads of ammo and the like.

Any character thats gone through an OC or 2 should be OK.

Anywhere between 4-7th level (or level 10 if ye be a mage/cleric). Anything higher is fine too! Hope to see ya in there Eppy!!! (Eppy?!?!?!) It'll be cool! We all gotta get a game going, ALL the IW'ers one night!!!

Cheers for that, I'll probably start a bit higher than 7 to play it safe. Just got to finish HotU (again - I have to try out all the prestige classes - fighter/cleric/champion of torm this time ) first!

Mmmm, better start thinking about suitable characters to take into undermountain.
