Battle squares (minor spoiler)

When is the last oppotunity to complete the Battle Squares?

I was recalled by Nikodemus and I thought that it would be a good time to finish what I started in Chp. 3(?). But there's no way to active the BS then.

According the the BIS forums, you can go back and complete battle squares anytime before you COMPLETE Chapter 4 and start Chapter 5. Based on other posts I believe this is BEFORE you return to Kuldahar but not sure about that.

Somebody (i think it was Night Owl) said that you could do it anytime up until you left the underdark.

It was probably me, I said that in an older thread.

Yes, you can go back as long as you don't leave the underdark. Once you leave the underdark, there is no way to go back by foot, and when you get teleported there for the favor, everything is desactivated (It's really not the same map, just one that look like it).
