Does anyone know how to open the doors in skull castle that have a stoneface lock or something like that. I am running into them in the dungeons.

There's only one door with a stoneface lock, and that's at Madda Mabig's room. You use G'Ezzered Ra's staff on it. (You have to complete his quest before you get the staff).
All the other locks are the Winglatches that you click on to open or close. -Sazerac |

Seems to me that there are other locks in SKULL CASTLE that require a KEY!!! The official strategy guide from Brady Games indicates that one needs the LICH's key to get into G'Ezered Ra's chamber?? Great! I have a BONE key and the LABRYINTH key - but no LICH key. The LICH's key is really the BONE key???? Seems to me I have tried both with no luck. Also, have not noticed a lock of any type on the door down the steps straight ahead from main room (rather than going to the right to the TIPPING bridge). Something, somewhere is remiss! Perhaps its my head thats remiss!!!!

There are a couple of locks that require a key, but the strategy guide is miss-informed about some of them. I believe that the strategy guide was written from a beta version or even an alpha version and there were changes made. The Liche's key (which you can get from Adrianna) is not really needed as the door it is supposed to open can be picked with a high enough combination of skill and lockpicks.
The door you are talking about with no lock leads to G'Ezerred Ra and only opens after you have completed a some of the tripping bridge areas. (Personally, I think that it will open for you after you have finished the maze, but I do not know that for sure. Perhaps it opens after hitting the winglatch near the cells that doesn't seem to do anything.)
