POLL: What character are you using right now?

Elven Ranger here, too. Been an Elf since we started PnP about 20 years ago. If you choose elf the ranger is a logical choice. I always liked the bickering with those blockheaded dwarves.
I started the game with an human fighter, hitting recommended on all screens to get to know the game, rushed that girl though the game in about 15 hours, finished at level 14 and retired her. Now I am having fun with that dual wielding ranger, visiting places I didn't see before.
The only thing I know about Drizzt is that I killed him in BG. He wiped out the rest of my party though and I barely survived.

5 ranger/15 druid here. oddly enough, i didn't consciously try to emulate Drizzt, but it happened anyway, so i ended up with a dual scimitar wielding killin machine. actually switched to spear at the end cause i found a really nice one with acid dmg. some of my other characters are a fighter/barbarian, who i think will also dual wield. he's real low level, so not a lot of feats yet. another character is a paladin, who's specializing in greatsword. this game is GRRRREAT!

I did read bored of the rings, the one that always got me was "the Nozdrul"... still cracks me up to this day.

I won't begin to say anything about the "fourth descendent of" artmeis entreri... that ranks up their with the Legolii.

im and elven ranger, its a pretty strong classin this game , so there fore i like it: this is in my multiplayer
in my single player im a rouge, hes not too god though

depends on how you run it. I have a 5Rogue, 2Fighter that kicks ass. Dual Wield a Rapier+1/Dagger+1 with Weapon Finesse and extended crit range, +3d6 sneak attack damage. Youch.

Just got started and am using a half-elf Bard. Not sure if I'll multiclass her at some point. She's level 3 at the moment.

I find the results quite interesting. 20% of people are playing Half-elves, a race that many sites/guides criticize as being a watered down elf without the bonus feat/skills of a human. Also a bit surprising how so few are playing as Halflings even though they make excellent Rogues, which is one of the more popular classes.

Well my current character is a fighter8 rouge 5 half elf, using the Shield and bastardswor and sometime the greatsword. Powerattacks, knockdown, iron will. Heavy duty fighter guy with a nasty edge more or less.

Dual classed because Tomi is not good enough in a fight for me and with a full plate and large shield you are not going to sneak around the corners easily. So Rouge class because I want the use magic device, sneak attack and persuade (people taunts him because he has 8 in charisma) and of course search and disable traps.

As I suspected, this combo has been far superior to the 3 class multiclassing, fighters that boosts their saving throws are reallylethal, and with haste and invisibility, you can even sneak up on evil wizards, choose powerattack, and sneak the wizard and then knockdown while he is still flatfooted and get another sneak and when down, give him another sneak attack, all with powerattack.

Level 16 wizards? Pfah... Breakfirst is served!
