"I wish it WAS that simple, Joneth...but it's not. The only data that ACTUALLY enters the specific mainframe we're looking at comes through hardware. Disks. Real, very expensive and fragile disks. The only interface I know of is in the room adjacent to the mainframe,"Says Barrick.

The General pipes in:
You seem to be forgeting the comm jamming on those floors. You all won't be able to coordinate your teams by anything other than good old-fashioned training and watches. You won't be able to communicate with the outside world. Even you, Joneth, will have to be there...and since there should be a backup team, no matter what plan we choose, someone else needs to know something about the mainframe you'll be hacking into."

OCC: Real happy to see things are speeding up again…lol unfortunately I go on vacation in two days and I’ll be gone for two weeks. I’m going to try and keep a sporadic posting session but with the way I got Eceil (maybe on team two) I don’t think he’ll have a very large part for a while.

“Look, one way or another well need to insert a team in the building. If the place has as much security as you say it does our best bet on getting close to the mainframe would be to make ourselves look like invited guests, at least that’s my opinion. For one, all these Nautolan's look the same so all we got to do is pretend he’s someone famous and by the time we get him the building they won’t know he’s a fake.”
Eceil then sighs and slips into one of the kitchens chairs.
“Okay, here’s the way I see this going down. Correct me if I got the situation down wrong. Team One enters the building for a business meeting and lays the bomb somewhere on the mainframes floor. We got to set it up right so security finds it and calls in the bomb threat. The buildings evacuated, god hoping with a majority of the agents hiding their. Team Two then moves in with Joneth, treating the thing as if it’s a real terrorist threat were investigating. We get their before the police seal the place off and pull out all our fancy clearance cards to get ourselves inside. Then it’s just a matter of getting Joneth a feed into that room next to the mainframe. If that works we get the data and pull out before anyone knows what’s going on. Now that could all go fine and keep us from losing any important limbs…except a couple things. One, we won’t really know for sure how many agents are going to stay in the building in order to guard the mainframe. Hell they might even try to move ahead of us to disarm the bomb. If not all of them know who each other, though, as Barrick has said, then we might be able to work off the confusion. Either way, I’d be on Team Two. I would have got the same training these guys did back when I was younger, so I’ll probably be the best off at fighting them if we have too. I can guarantee you if it came down to it I’d probably be able to kill us a way into that room. Second problem, they’ll see all our faces on security cameras, and once we get out of their and they realize we hacked the mainframe well have a thousand Republican killers on our door step. Maybe it would be a good idea to take a trip to the buildings security offices on the way out and take care of those video feed records. Problem Three, getting out alive will be the tough part, unless we can use our clearance to get out of their- or…okay…here’s another crazy idea. What if we let them take us out of the building? If the General has any power left this would be the kind of case he’d be investigating, especially if they think its Trill activity. He calls in military support, we get the files, hide them on our bodies- I can take care of that- then surrender to the General. He loads us on a military transport and we leave the scene of the crime with everyone thinking we're prisoners. Except our transport never makes it to the prison. That would work…unless we get fighter escort on the way to the prison, in which case the General would have to call them off so we can escape without the whole army noticing.”

Barrick, you remember what happened at the senate building, right? Do you think we could do something similar to that, rather than the bomb threat? Or maybe just mask us, during and after. We can reroute the call to the Republic forces about the threat, and take their place. Perhaps the General would be a good choice for that? I dunno. Now that I think about it, I don't suppose he spent much time answering calls, huh? Alright, what about this room adjacent to the mainframe? That seems our best bet, because I really don't want to enter hard vacuume!

"If no one has any objections,I would like to be on team one." Rain comments after his scorn by Joneth. "I hate standing around here doing nothing,Which reminds me,I need to find a holonet projector for my meeting with the council, even thought it would be more comvinent in person I do not wish the possibility of becoming discoverd even bigger,no offence to your cappability Joneth.I must be off." With that he pivoted and walked away, the door swishing behind him.

No problem on his part finding that holonet communicator. Rain contacts the Jedi Council, and they inform him that there are strange currents in the force around the work he is doing---and they don't involve him. They inform him to not tell them any details, but to remember his responsibility as a Jedi, and act as he must. Most importantly, they say, pay attention to what is going on around you on this mission. Not all will be as it seems.

"Okay, so nevermind my idea...it wouldn't really work with this team very well anyway," Says Barrick, kind of embarrassed. "Remember what happened, though, Joneth? They found out what was going on, despite your efforts. The only thing you managed was to conceal our identities...and there are probably easier ways of doing that, without risking the extra time hacking the building security. Remember. This mission depends on time. The more time we spend, the more likely we are to get caught. I'd say that if we spend more than an hour in the building, we're going to be captured, interrogated, and we'll go down, taking the Chancellor with us."

Would it be possible to slice their cameras before we enter the building, and then just find some excuse to slip away to a refresher or something. From there, a Jedi could probably just use stealth and mind tricks to get us to where we need to be, right? I could probablye it pretty quick. I dunno if we would even need a big cover story like the athlete-thing. We could probably just enter as normal customers who want to open an account, or something. Just a thought.

Rain walks in, attitude apparent on his face, and plops down in his chair. He pinches the bridge of his nose with his pointer finger and thumb,as if he were trying to get rid of a headache. When he feels the people staring at him he looks up and makes the continue gesture with the opposite hand."Please by all acounts go on." he rolled his eyes and muterd something incomprehensible.

Terassk shakes his head "All I hope is that you guys can keep your heads strapped tightly to your necks, if you need to fall back here, I think I can cover with a sniper rifle, lemme check if anything is scoped in the Weapons Locker,"

Terassk does what he says and tries to find a sniper rifle in the weapons locker.

While the rest of the group continues to talk, Rain feels something,a distubince in the force, as the masters of the council had said, but he was going to find out what the distubance was no matter what the council said.In an attempt to find the presece,he activates his lightsaber, and meditates.

Sniper rifle found, rather easily (in a box labeled "Sniper Rifle"), Terassk. When you return to the meeting room, you notice a meditating Jedi Padawan with an activated lightsaber. Fearing for the young one, (but not willing to lose his fingers/arm to a reflex), Barrick finds the nearest stick-like object and pokes him with it.

OOC: The plan seems to be coming along nicely...now if your characters can make decisions, then we'll get the inevitable rolling onward!
