How many people out there use their own made up charecters in their party? - Page 2

I´m playing the game with homemade characters...but only the first time around the game, then I´ll go with the NPCs.
Trouble is that I might get disappointed if I started playing NPCs and THEN made my own party and played. By playing the multisession I´ve got an oppertunity to learn the ways of an NPC...

My next round though will be Multisession also...Six mages on a campaign through AMN...should be fun when I reach the higher levels

the problem is that my net never connects to the server for multiplayer. it say 'waiting for connection' and then does nothing, i have waited for about 10 mins before quitting, does it usually take this long?

Well Diablo, you don't need to connect to anything if you are just playing with yourself (no one make any comments on that line). You don't need to connect to any network or server to play a multiplayer game with just your characters.
You only need to connect to other sites if you are playing a multiplayer game with other players. If its just you and your computer, and you are playing 4-6 of your own guys, you don't need anything. Don't even need a modem GRIN.
