Has anyone found anything worth pick pocketing for? True, my thief has only 5 or 6 levels in the skill but getting only 5-10 gold or some worthless weapon does not encourage me to invest many points into that skill. In BG2 my thief with the help of the master of thievery potion became my major income character. In just a few minutes, real time, I'ld have over 100,000 gold.

There are some nice items to pickpocket, but it's not as usefull a skill as in Bg2.
There are some threads on this. You could do a search if you want more info.

There is a man in Gallaway's that has a useful item on him. It helps having it early in the game

the skill sucks. especially in HoF mode when every organism in the game becomes very sensitive indeed to pickpocketing. it is very annoying, if your playing it in HoF mode stop wasting points immediately.
