Hopefully, all my fellow Canadians will get a chance to enjoy some festivities today, this our Canada Day.
Unfortunately a lot of places have instituted fireworks bans due to the high forest fire risk, but it still should be a good day anyway. Well, I'm off to enjoy this paradise we call Canada. Have fun everyone.

Canada day? You guys should have a big music festival, featuring the Arrogant Worms! Man, I love those guys!

Happy Canada Day! What is Canada Day? Is it just the day where you all respect Canada or something?

Oh no... has my paitriotism deteriorated to the state where Canada day is fleeting?
Excuse me... I'm gonna go find someone to knock some sense into my unpatriotic skull. Edit: Needed to rephrase that last part. [ 07-01-2004, 02:30 PM: Message edited by: The Whackmiester ] |

Canada Day is the annual celebration of the country's inception. We became officially independent on July 1, 1867.
That's the history. What we actually DO is have a day off work to attend BBQs and drink a lot.
