I'd probably go with ST Deep Space Nine of the top of my head- not current, though Movie...oh geez you are asking ME to make a choice, just ONE? - whew! I always forget the title..Bruce Dern movie -something like Silent Running, very moving / anything Harrison Ford or Pierce Brosnan do ( no, really, they do choose good scripts to work with!) Cloudova (I hope that is one you have not had in your collection yet ) - I actually liked the first seasons of DS9, but later on they started to go with fashion and added fantasy elements to what had been straight pure science fiction.
I hate the mingling of fantasy and science fiction, my science fiction ideal is Isaac Asimov to give you an idea why . Modrick the Mad - nice to meet someone who appreciates Pulp Fiction as much as I do. ------------------ So long ! R³ |

Actually I remembered some other favourite things.
"The Dream", with Roy and HG was very very funny, as was a show in Oz called the late late show (anyone remember Bargearse?) "Spinal Tarp" (sic) was an hysterically funny movie, and last night I found out the Aussie mate I´m staying with watched it in the presence of a member from Status Quo (the band that Spinal Tap drew it´s inspiration from) who DIDN´T GET IT!!! I first saw it BEFORE I was in the music industry, and so spent the next ten years laughing at life ("oh that´s so Spinal Tap") ------------------ FAIR DINKUM! |

My favorite show WAS the X-Files up until this season which reeks. Now its That 70's Show. Very shallow but VERY funny.
Favorite movies are: Evil Dead 2, A Clockwork Orange, Fight Club, Harold and Maude, Taxi Driver, Pulp Fiction, LA Confidential and The Usual Suspects. Hmm it seems I like alot of movies about people who have been emasculated and wreak some kind of havoc as a result... Heheheh... Azrael Abyss ------------------ I'm the prince of sorrow... Woooo! |

The original ST tv show was great for it's time, science-wise. Fantasy was a separate genre and I liked it too. But just as you, I like 'em to be in their own worlds, not mixed! That's kind of like Drizzt looking at his Rolex to see if it's time to go adventuring yet. LOL Cloudy (Cloudova? No, not in my bag of holding yet!) ------------------ Storm-Queen StormCloud of the Black Knight [This message has been edited by Cloudbringer (edited 03-06-2001).] |
