Azurewolf,
Rex says that in the 3D industry, the program Studio Max is what you will want to learn.
It will require an 800 or above CPU, a powerful graphics card (like a Promedia Labs with the Gloria chipset) and at least 64 MB of RAM. He warns that it is an expensive program and your system must be state of the art (more expenses).
He recommends Bryce 4 or Ray Trace (4 or 5) for becoming familiar with the 3D animation process but adds that these too are not inexpensive programs and that the process of developing 3D graphics is extremely time consuming.

He crashed out before I could get any more info out of him LOL!
If you have any more questions, post them here and I will get back to him on them either tonight or tomorrow.

AzureWolf Bryce is a good 3D program I've played with it,not really worked with it. What I saw of it looked promising I'll E-mail you some samples of my work later tonight, their all done on a MAC and our IMAC is hooked to the internet on the regular phone line. So I'll have to wait until my daugthers are done talking to the pondscums
