Who would be the most powerful warior/mage of the realm,Irenicus, Elminister, Drizz't or perhaps that crazy overpowerd assasin that shows up when you try Aran Linvaille (Arcanus or something.)
What do you think? |

In terms of the game, killing Drizzt is a doddle. Irenicus isn't that much harder once you've sussed him. The assassin is only powerful because he uses a +50 Thaco, -50 AC, immune to everything, +1000 damage, etc., sword. Strange, how come Renal has problems with Guild wars when he has this guy on his team. Another case of dumb designers objecting to people meandering away from teh linear plot. Elminster is a 25th level Mage, 25th level something else, 27th level Wizard with stats of 25 about the place and is protected by the Gods. Also, due to a contract with the licence, he cannot be allowed to die

The most powerful person in the realms is undoubtedly Elminster, because he's Ed Greenwood's alter ego.

well, I have to disagree. Elminster certainly has a lot of potential, but I did not see him even lifting a finger to stop any of the vilain s that you had to face. For all I see he is a bluff.

If you listen to the stories then I'd say Drizzt is the best. Unfortunantly if you try and fight him in the game he's a bit of a walkover.
He seemed much better in BG1 ------------------ |

Well, Drizzt would do. He's only a 15th level fighter, or something, right? As for Elminster, well... he could best Irenicus, I'm sure of it, and Bodhi too into the bargain. But why should he? It's not his fight! Besides, wouldn't BG2 be a bit dull if all you did was walk around watching Elminster kill things?
Tancred Don't answer that, Elminster fans. |

Elminster, son of munchkin. The others aren't protected by zillions of Gods
