used this class? He is a useful spellcaster, and can use a lot of weapons, but not wear armour. His harping is also pretty useful, even in first dungeon. Any difficulties using a Skald that it would be useful to know?
Thanks.

skald is darn good, his backstab modifer is buggy, in a good way. (does more dmg than what it supposed to do)

I played him, and enjoyed

Skalds are Bards 250, Bards don't have backstab ability!

I have used the Skald clas and they are very good, best stratagy is to have him/her cast spells while you tanks wade in, then either use a missile weapon or sing you battle song.

Love my Skald pc! Can do a bit of everything and she isn't too bad a spellcaster. A plus for using the Skald: adds +1 to Hit and Damage.
Bardsong is great! Gives combat bonuses to allies and morale and luck are higher. (how much is supposed to depend on level of the bard). The drawback is that the Skald's pickpocket skills are weak. Not much of a drawback to me!

Depends on your bard. The jester's song causes confusion, the skald can add +4 to hit and damage, and -4 to AC at higher levels.

Both are excellent. And the skald can wear elven chain (if you're lucky enough to find a suit).

The Planar Prison (Haer Dalis rescue quest). I'm fairly sure we have it now, but don't quote me on that...I'll check next time we meet up with turbo
