Imoen loses spell casting

My Imoen can no longer cast any spells. This has nothing to do with armor, she isn't wearing any. I also tried removing *all* items that she is wearing. Rings, bracers, amulets, etc.

Any ideas?

SHe has to sleep in order to re-memorize the spells that she has casted.

Not trying to be a smarta$$ here, but have you rested lately? Or has she used all here spells? Has she been level drained lately? You might want to check to make sure she is actively trying to memorize spells. Hope this helps.

Have you dual-classed her again? If so, you have to exceed the mage level with the current class before you can cast spells again

I thought she was a thief/mage in the beginning already. Hmmm....maybe it is a bug? Is the game patched?

Or have you used Shadowkeeper on her? I tried that at the start of my current game and Imoen lost her Thief skills! I had to go back to the unedited game. I'd only upped her Thief skill 1 level, too!

She starts off as a thief who's dual-classed to a mage, but I think you can dual-class her again if you want to

Um. I don't think you can, actually. My Imoen's Dual Class box is in inoperative mode. Maybe you can do it with Shadowkeeper.... but it doesn't seem very likely 'cos it would be outside the game parameters, wouldn't it?
