Pi, to get wands recharged, sell them to a shopkeeper when they have 1 charge left then buy them straight back. This costs a lot of money, but is worth it for a useful wand. I think that some of them get quite a lot of charges when you do this.

Summoning demons is especially fun as you get XP for killing them (even while your Pro vs Evil 10' Rad is up) - hee hee! 16,000 for a Pit Fiend - burp!
