Did I spell Souvenier right? Its one of those words you just don't find yourself writing/typing much LOL.
Anyway, our new Russian secretary at my work took off for Russia for a week. She's going to call on Monday to see if anyone in our office wants any souveniers of any particular kind. I just don't know what to ask for LOL. What is in Russia that would be good, something unique? Any ideas? |

I'd go with vodka, if I were you. It's so typical, but it's the only thing I can think of. Plus it's really cheap over there, so she'd hardly be breaking the bank for you. I also tend to think vodka's a lot stronger in that part of the world. Two sips of some of that stuff and you're standing on your head - I shit thee not.

LOL Arledrian, if its THAT strong I dunno if I even want it LOL! I'm not much of a vodka lover, just don't like the taste much. Plus if it is strong you really don't notice much taste at all because you are too busy blowing air out of your mouth so you can get some oxygen through all the vapors LOL!
Tell ya what, if she gives me a bottle of vodka because I cannot decide on a souvenier, I'll send it to you, and you can come here and post while standing on your head LOL! It'll be an amusing moment for all! |

Yes I know what you are talking about, but also do not recall the name of the thing. That is a Russian invention then?

well, for starters a MIG-28 will be nice. or if that's not available then one of the SU-35 fighter would make a great souvenier.
