Yorick- Ubi est Gallia...sorry, ex Latin student...loooooong time back! I'm sure you can find maps for finding it, just watch out you don't cross any Rubicons on the way!

Great stories, btw, Bard. I really like them.

Yorick - sounds like you are having a great time! That driving situation sounds crazy! When I rent a car it messes me up for days after I get back to driving my own, and that is nothing like what you are experiencing! I can't imagine sitting on the other side AND driving on the other side of the road as well! Eeek!! Be careful out there!!

Yorick, what a fascinating read!! I'm sure not as fascinating as LIVING it, but thank you for sharing with those of us who are homebound. I look forward to your next installment.

Yorick, I sympathise with the driving bit. First time I drove in Spain, I misjudged the distance to the kerb and ended up hitting it so hard, I burst the tyre and buckled the wheel. Luckily, it was the last day of the holiday, so I changed the tyre and returned the previously brand new rental car, it had only 200 miles on the clock when I got it, without mentioning the fact that the spare tyre was toast and the steering severely twisted.

Where are you off to next?

Next would be here ... HE COMES TO GRENOBLE NEXT FRIDAY !!!
Yes, I am starting to realize that Yorick will REALLY be coming here in my home ! In less than four days !
Part of me is scared to death that he should be disappointed, and wants nothing more at the moment than becoming a tiny tiny Moiraine and hiding into a mouse hole ... Part of me knows damn well that if I haven't invited him while he was travelling less than 100 miles from Grenoble, I WOULD HAVE REGRETTED IT NO END !!!
(Sorry for the Caps Locks - they kinda suit my current mood quite right ...)
