Obduction
Anybody thinking about trying it? I put it on my Steam wishlist and am waiting for a Steam sale.

Re: Obduction
It was released on Steam 8/24/16. I have no idea if Amazon will ever have it. If you want a hard copy box/jewel case product, you may need to look at Cyan's website.

Re: Obduction
I bought it and have played it a little. Not enjoying it as much as Myst or Riven, but it's okay. The backtracking takes so much longer because it's based on current technology rather than what they had before, so your character walks/runs instead of just skipping through areas. Takes aaaages. The areas are a lot larger and more interactive, though.
It's a lot more self guided too. In Myst/Riven you had a purpose and you knew what that was pretty much from the start, but that's not as obvious in Obduction. Not entirely sure what it is I'm solving puzzles for yet. |
