Hey guys, I've only really played BG and BG2. And loot in that game is set in stone (IE you will always find the holy avenger from a big red dragon )

That being said, is the loot system the same in IWD2? Or is it random?

Thanks!

Most of the loot in IWD2 is guranteed, but there are some randomized drops in the game. For example, by defeating a boss you may get one of four possible items.

Awesome thank you for the info.

Does anyone know of a site that shows where and from what monsters items in IWD2 drop from? I usually goto gamebanshee.com, and it has a wonderful iten DB for BG and BG2. However, for IWD2 it only shows what items are available, not where they are attained.

Any boss can drop random items, not just certain bosses.

I believe there is an item list at www.gamefaqs.com that can help you out with the random drops, but I'm not sure.
