Dont forget, its tonight at 6:00 PM EST. On the west coast we will see the moon rise about 8:45 already eclipsed. It will be a deep red color and last about 30-45 minutes. You can compute the corect times for your city here. http://aa.usno.navy.mil/data/docs/LunarEclipse.html
Pretty cool stuff!

I've never seen one before, what are they supposed to look like?

OK, nevermind. It's supposed to happen here within half-an-hour. A quick shower in before I go look, then I'm off to bed.

Well I just went out and saw it with my cat. It was really cool when it turned red, kitty didn't like it though. She started hissing at shadows and growling until I took her back in, whence she hid in the darkest corner she could find and proceeded to bark in an odd manner... I also noticed all the Hutia were squeeling oddly and moving about and gathering in the paved streets(quite abnormal behavior for Giant Jungle Rodents)The birds were just silent, and the insects seemed more interested in me than any of the street lights >_< *itches from head to toe now*
