Saw this on the news last night. Al Qada wannabes?! What's up with that? Thankfully they stopped 'em before they hurt anyone.

Whatever. They were looking to blow up oil refineries. Had they caught me on the right day just after I'd paid $3.16/gallon, I'd have gladly joined them. Blowing up refineries isn't the ultimate answer, though. Murdering leaders of these oil choking oligopolies -- that's the answer. The world just needs more violence, I think.

Looks like according to reports the TSX was the intended target in the heart of the city's financial district. Many suits in the area but very few oil executives as most of those are based in Calgary.
Finally have a list of charges as well. http://cnews.canoe.ca/CNEWS/Canada/2...17027-sun.html |

Profiles of the suspects
http://www.cbc.ca/news/background/to.../suspects.html London transit bombers have curious parallels to the apparently autonomous cell that is alleged to have sprung up in Canada. Interesting. http://www.macleans.ca/topstories/ne...ntent=n060555A [ 06-06-2006, 03:01 PM: Message edited by: pritchke ] |
