quote: Dadgomit now you went and done it, spit fire and Hale I won't be able to say anything bad about the Democrats for at least 25-30 sec. Seriously I'm in the screenprint buisness, T-shirts are a non necessity item, We feel any down turn or up turn in the economy usally before it hits the news. The last three months we have been busier then ever before in the winter (up about 35% over last year). Based on my 17 years in screenprinting this country is in for an economic BOOM!! Now if the Fed can keep a hold of inflation. As much as I would like to give all the credit to Pres. Bush, I know it was the American people that said "HALE NO We ain't falling down that easily". IMHO most Americans went into a holding pattern on spending until a couple of weeks before Christmas. When there was no further attacks, no colapse, no depression, they said "hey party time". Now it's just a matter of time until the factories pick back up to fill the new orders.

quote: To bad Bush didn't finish his term in the air guard. He went AWOL. Good thing his family could cover such an act of cowardness. You are wrong I'm afraid, Bush is an idiot...his coining the term "axis of evil" when we were about to normalize relations with Iran are just one of the many examples of his lack common sense. Funny how you make a blanket statements about Moni. Try again.

quote: LOL...sorry she's bringing you republicans down Ronn . I doubt any of you went by Clintons approval ratings when they were high. Who IS this overwhelming majority you speak of? The everyday person? Doubt it. You just keep believeing those ratings...it will make it easier for Democrats to pick up seats in Congress. -Cheers- [ 03-07-2002: Message edited by: KHaN ]

quote: Well the people you know who blame anyone but themselves for their own failures obviously need some help. I wouldn't include me in your list of jealous losers so quickly I come from an intelligent family of wealth, I know how to make money, spend it and save it. I also know how to screw John Q out of his hard earned dollars by the mere use of his own stupidity...so does Bush...that does not make it right, that does not make him successful, that does not even make him an idiot...it makes him a thief. I still think he is an idiot just by the idiotic things he does and the idiotic things he says. Stupid is as stupid does. It has nothing to do with politics. You don't know enough of me to know that Dubyah and I don't believe in or agree on some of the same things do you? If everyone who disagreed with me got labeled an idiot, you would have to count yourself as one (high) on the list, but no, I allow others their opinions even when they do not jibe with my own. I do not come back and tell them how "obviously wrong" they are...it'd be nice if others could do the same. Have A Nice Day |

quote: Bush has 2 university degrees, And you don't graduate from Harvard School of Business if you are an Idiot. I don't care how much money you or your family has, Harvard has a reputation and they want to keep IT. Normalizing relations with Iran? That story has been going around since the Aytollha (sp?) died. Are you in the State Dept., or are you getting this information from the news reports? It's been what 8-10 years since the Ayatohla (I'll try it that way this time) died yet Iran still sponsers terrorism against the USA and It's interests, sounds like a good canidate for normalizing relations to me (sarcaism at full throttle). IHMO only an Idiot would want to have normal relations with a country that still claims the USA is the Great Satan, and eagerly waits for the downfall of the USA. Iran doesn't give a Rat's rear-end about the USA, being It's friend, or being like the USA. The man on the street in Iran may want to be friends, Heck the man on the street may even want to move to the USA. But, the man on the street in Iran has less say over what goes on in the Govt. of Iran that the non-voting public has here in the USA.

Everybody has their own opinion, and has a right too--Respect this. There is no need to try to argue your point over and over, because this will lead to hurt feelings. I am going to close this thread now, I think everyone got their feelings out.
MagiK, Cool down man, there isn't a need to insult someone because they don't agree with ya.

I know Z's already locked this thread, but I just wanted to make a comment - disagreement is healthy, disrespect is not. Make sure you know the difference.
