10x Titanic Budget. But it said that the latter two series will be ready in Christmas 2002 and 2003 respectively. Isn't that miles away??

I haven't seen the official trailer yet, only internet version

I heard they filmed all three movies together, is this true?

That's what I heard. They should all be finished (N Zealand). But why are they releasing them a year apart??

Yes, that is true. They thought it would be more cost efficient, as well as esaier, since the people are already in costume, to go ahead and film it all at once. That way, no accidents or future trouble will prevent the next movies. I hear they are also doing the Harry Potter movie that way. They are planning on making the Harry Potter series run 7 movies, I think...

To build the suspense by having to wait a year...also, I am sure they will re-release each one before the next comes out

Seen the trailer wathing till christmass to see the move read the book Lord of The Rings (yes it's actually one book not 3 a comon misconsecption) in fact read the book 3 times and did a major english report on J.R.R. Tolkin. Probably releasing the movies a year apart just to earn more money.
