If they are paralysed there will be an icon that I can click.
What about if I cast Bless or something on my party? There is no icon for it so how do I know if it's still active? |

the upper right corner of your playing window. party spells that are cast out of combat are on the actual bar. combat cast party spells appear directly under the bar.
eg: "Bless" will be an icon of hands praying directly under the bar in the upper right. "Shadow Hound" will be a pic of a dog on the bar itself in the upper right. V***V BTW: you should always be running around with as many noncombat party spells as you currently own. so that bar should always have spells like the following up alla time: Magic Screen, Missile Shield, Enchanted Blade, Detect Secrets, etc. or else you run into problems! Magic Screen, Missile Shield, Enchanted Blade, Detect Secrets, etc. Missile Shield, Light, Enchanted Blade, Armorplate, and Magic Screen. Of lesser import, but still good, are Detect Secrets and Xray. And if you get tired of endless battles, consider Chameleon. Finally, the first two defensive spells you should put up once you get into battle are mages are Elemental Shield and Soul Shield. |

what are the first 2 combat spells you use, besides the 2 "Shields"?
i have one mage cast Armor Melt, her sister casts Web and my bard (who always goes first) casts Insanity! i love that combo! it seems that each new level of monsters requires that you use a new strategy, tho, so there's no chance of getting in a rut! LOL! i really love group/cone spells for disabling. but lately for sheer damage, i adore dropping a "Crush" on someone. now THAT is satisfying. *kaboom* = 65 dmg! ::sighs:: yup! that spell's a definite keeper.
