Minsc's quest for Dynaheir (Spoil)

I went back to pick up Minsc and Dynaheir at the Gnoll stonghold. I asked Minsc to join, he did, and, as usual, Dynaheir also automatically joined. Well,,,, because of the way I handled this quest earlier in the game, Minsc still thinks we haven't rescued Dynaheir(even though she is in the party too!!!), and after a day or so of travel he attacks me for not doing his quest. Will someone tell how to change the variable so that Minsc thinks the quest is done? Thanks.

Have you tried letting them go, and then asking them to rejoin by talking to Dynaheir instead of Minsc? I'm just guessing, not sure if it works.

I think I tried it that way,,, but I'll try again and let you know.

OK. I don't know about the variable but try this way.

[I'm assuming you are familiar with how to use the console]

Have both minsc and dynaheir in your party.
Have one empty space in your party (like by throwing out someone whom you can regain later)
Use console to summon another dynaheir CLUAConsole:CreateCreature("Dynahe") - not sure of syntax here, but think her name is "Dynahe" (first 6 letters only) or "Dynaheir".
Talk to her so minsc thinks quest is completed.
Get permanently rid of the new dynaheir by turning her to stone or gibbing her to smitherens.
