Ah, who cares about how much the US or anyone else win (even though I'm American by birth I'm sticking with the underdogs here), as long as we've got more than the Poms (who are CLOSER to Europe and the Alps I might add).

Quite incredible that Australia, with a population of 18 million, do so @#$% well at sport, be it individual or team sports played by the rest of the world. Don't knock us for our two golds, we're ahead of Austria on the medal tally, and it doesn't even snow here (except up in the mountains).

We just got a SECOND ONE, by Alisa Camplin (below). Isn't she gorgeous!! I'm so happy for her. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Thanks for that reply!.Makes me even more proud our Dutchies have won
two golds so far,there are only 15 milion of us [img]smile.gif[/img] ,and we don't even
have mountains,just some hills.

And i must say,Alisa really looks......errrrrmmmmmmmmmm.......happy

True Campinio - no mountains.... but from memory you don't have many medals from the mountains. On the other hand, it is not unknown for the Netherlands to have a little ICE now and then is it . That might be more the link to your medals success .
