I'm just wondering if anyone has had this problem with the brilliant Planescape:Torment.
Often, when Torment plays cinematics I get a layer of jagged black covering half of the screen! At first I thought my Cd was scratched- it wasn't. Furthermore, I rented another copy from a video shop, and it did the same thing. I then decided to download and apply the official Torment patch, the one that makes it Version 1.100, or something like that. It still didn't help. I have a P2 350mhz, 128 mb RAM, an S3 Trio 4mb video card and a Diamond Monster 12mb Voodoo 2. And I have DirectX 8. The glitches don't happen all the time...but they do happen, and its annoying. Can anyone please help me? Thanx. |

Try re-installing your Graphics card drivers. Try for new ones. the Voodoo series has a massive list of incompatiabilities, but PST dosent use 3d acceleration so the problem is likly with your trio.
Also 4mb is right on the minimum requirements, and your graphics sysytem is way underpowered compared to the rest of your machine, so it may be time for an upgrade.
