Battlemaster??

I'm doing the battle game thing in the Ice Castle but I can't beat any of the rank 9-10 monsters. I would think at lvl 13 I could do it. The rewards so for are pretty lousy. Even the exp seems next to nothing. I'd love some advice.

Come back later
When you're higher experience. Just makle sure you don't leave it too long, or you won't be able to get back at all.

XP too lousy!? Four thousand per rank not good enough for you? Disruption items not good enough? Best protection buff not good enough?
And levels 9 and 10 are easy once you completel 5 and get the Club of Disruption.

I didn't get anywhere near 4k exp! I few hundred maybe? Shi**y items like money and gems, a lousy scroll and 20 +5 bolts. How far can I go berfore I can't get back?

+5 bolts alone are worth some 20k if I'm not mistaken, the gems should net another 20k, and once you finish all the levels, you get about 10k experience. Or should get, but at level 13 it's a bit high for it.
You can go all the way to the Monastery(or the river caves, can't remember if you can go back from the River caves). It should be enough to net a level or two at least.

I got 1 gem which was worth squat. The exp , like I said was the same. But maybe my lvl is too high. But, then if that's true I should be able to kick butt and that ain't happ'nin. It seems like I can't even hit the high lvl stuff and all of a sudden they're attacking the rest of my party, how stupid is that!?

I'm just reading a bit of the walkthrough and I didn't get any of the stuff they mention. Maybe I'm doing something wrong? Could someone tell me the switch setting the order etc. Maybe I can start over?

Who do you have doing the squares, and what is his weapon? And what are the other members(list just AC, weapon and class)?

Lvl 13 Cleric - AC 22 Flaming Star +1 or Ice Axe +1
He is doing the fighting
Lvl 12 Cleric - AC 22
Lvl 2 Rang Lvl 10 Sorc - AC 16
Lvl 1 Bard - for extra exp

Take that cleric, take the Mace of Disruption you got from the previous levels and kick some demon behind! If you haven't got the CoD, you must have skipped a rank. I think it was 5.

Ok, I'll try 5 again. But even the other items I was supposed to get, like the dragons belt, spear etc. I didn't get any of it.
