My lead character, the Chosen One (mostly a Whiskah, as I like cats) usually keeps the Holy Signet to the end. I'd much rather give him/her another enchanted/blessed ring. Do I need the Signet after seeing the Oracles? - which is really a dump question, as I'm on my tenth game ......

BTW if I bless a ring/bracelet with To Hit lvls, it doesn't show on the stats screen. What's with that?

I don't think so...have you tried equipping the Mavin without the Signet? I usually give my lead character the Signet and the Divine Sigil.

No, but another char spent half the day using the Mavin, because she couldn't use any of the other weapons. So it's possible to use the Mavin without the Signet, which was on my lead char. Her resistances are mostly maxed out anyway, and the Sigil is at the inn with a mule.

You don't need it I don't think... But I would keep it until you have the Mavin at least. I don't know if Erathsmedor really cares if you've got the ring or not so long as you have the shroud and say the magic word I personally like the ring but each to his own as I always say (I think that's the first time I've ever used that expression).
