You're looking for a rod a rod which can be used as a lever a lever like that for the east trolley. The rod in near a broken trolley in one of the larger rooms on the west side - yeah with directions like that, you'll find it instantly (not! ;( )

dont be so wicked Wyvern. Its in the room with the other passage out to the switch room. The cart hides it and you may have to do the latest dance craze (The Pickup) a few time before you find a position were you can take it.
