questions about strongholds , dual class and kensais

If you have a stronghold and you dualclass your chaaracter will you lose your stronghold?
If I dualclass a character do both the first and second class count toward the xpcap?
What equipment is good at the start of the game to lower a kensai's AC (before doing quests like kangaxx's and other powerful enemies)?
I'm soloing a kensai now, at what level do you advise to try to kill dragons, or should I wait till I dualclassed him to a mage?

Ring of Earth Control from De'Arnise Keep. Some amulet( Shield Amulet?) from De'Arnise Keep as well. Ioun Stones. Ring of Protection +1/2. Boots of Avoidance from the Buried Man quest. Cloak of the Sewers from the Temple Sewers. Cloak of Protection +1.

I would rather dualclass first.

It's indeed the Shield Amulet. It's in the basement.

Notes:
1. Kensai is able to wear Ioun Stones even if the stones are, in fact, helmets. Kensai's head is the right head for them.
2. Every character can wear only one item of Protection. Therefore, give the kensai Cloak of the Sewers and a Ring of Protection +2. Also, give your kensai Ring of Gaxx after killing Kangaxx. Until then, use some AC +1 ring different from the Ring of Protection. Thus, we have a helmet, 2 rings and a cloak. Add some boots and an amulet, examples are listed above.
3. The best AC reachable by a kensai is AC -1 or so. You cannot make kensai's AC much better. Better AC can be reached only by dual class kensais. Sorry.
