Distinguishing a cats sex

Anybody, please tell of me how determine whether a cat is male or female.Thx!

ummm, I will let a mod handle this, since I do not want to go there

but it is quite simple to tell. if it has one, it is male, if it don't it is female

yeah, me too...i mean, if it has 3 pupils, its obviously a male, and if it has 8 toes on the second front leg from the right, its a female!!! err...i think that insanity thread had some weird affect on me...

Reminds me of the day years ago in French class... being a native English (okay, American) speaker, the concept of words with gender was new to me. After class, I asked the instructor whether the French word for cat was masculine or feminine.

He choked, chuckled, and said, "Well, it depends on the cat..."
