It's from one of the first... I think episode 4 in the first season.

Here is another quote from the same episode...

Ross: You know what? I better pass on the game. I think I'm just gonna go home and think about my ex-wife and her lesbian lover.
Joey: To hell with hockey! Let's all do that!

Joey is awesome...

3 wishes huh? Hmmmm...

1) I wish that before any soldier (in any army, of any religious denomination, of any nation) engages in battle with an enemy, they must meet that enemy face to face, sit down together, share a meal, show each other pictures of their families and friends and discuss with each other just what exactly it is that they are willing to kill each other for in the first place...

2) I wish that numerical monetary value is aboloshed and the 'financial' system of trade is dissolved. That national boundaries are forgotten and debt records erased. In short, that the world becomes a place for life to develope, grow spread and evolve, unfettered by imaginary psycological boundaries developed in insulated settlement environments.

3) I can't think of a third. Everything else in the world seems beautiful to me. All the pleasure and the pain...

Everything said on this thread

Like I said: Omnipotence ...
Like I said, world peace and an end to all illnesses, a happy life for all
those close to you and free cookies for everyone.
I DON'T want omnipotence, and I certainly wouldn't want other people to have it. I don't trust myself with power like that and neither do I think most other people I know can be trusted with it. Being able to do anything you want for the rest of your life can get you into a whole lot more trouble than you bargained for.
Omnipotence is bigger than that. Its all encompassing. You transend live as we know it. You transend ALL life, everything. You get a free pass to the next level, unlimited credits. Trouble no longer holds meaning, as do all other human terms. I for one would welcome it.

P.S. dont look at omnipotence like that clown Q in Star Trek, thats completely meaningless: an omnipotent being being fasciniated with the human morality sense? PUH-LEASE!!! you could do better Berman, waaaay better than that...

Well, if that description was supposed to make omnipotence sound more attractive, you failed.

Jorath - I do recognise that second quote! Must be my memory failing me at last at this ripe old age then...

1) That those I care for (includes myself and my maternal grandma - I wish she were resurrected from the dead) will live long and healthy lives, surrounded by caring and sincere loved ones.

2) That those I care for (includes myself ) will never be short of funds to pay for their hearts' desires.

3) That nobody in the world (yes, even myself ) would be allowed to do hurtful deeds deliberately (and no, pretending that any wrong-doing was unintentional would not be allowed).

1. Money beyond anyone's imagination.

2. Health.

3. Happiness.

Ok, fair enough, try this: you get to throw coloured waterballoons at all the rich shopping people from high in the sky
