After stealing the saints shield from the drumer Temple/enchanter in Ald-ruhn
I got the bounty lifted off my head, but the all of the guards in the town continue to attack me, any way to stop them from attacking me |

The last time I got a price on my head, I had the bounty removed in the Thieve's Guild. When I left the guild all the guard's came running after me, so I ducked into the Mage's Guild (I'm a member there too!) and slept 24 hours. The guards then left me alone.

hmm..I always save first before I steal something. when I fail to steal, I reload.

Try to recall if you commited any illegal activities prior to this. But I think its most likely a bug.
