Love the game.

An annoyance I have however, is fiddling with the mouse to pick up a set of arrows rotating on the ground, then moving the selected item over to a party member's picture and left-click (give to char) or righ-click (give to party) to place into the inventory.

There are so many hotkeys for everything else ... I was wondering if there is a quick way to 'pickup' an item that the cursor is hovering over, or even to dump a hovering 'selected' item into a your party's inventory.

I mean for crying out loud -- if I'm clicking on an item that sits on the ground in front of me, it's pretty obvious that I want it tossed into my bag!

Can anyone help me out?

Hello friend,
you might want to check out the tips section as i've all ready pit a tip on this and plus a lot of good info in there....but on to your question:

left click to pick it up and then right click on party member to put directly into party inventory.

seriously check the tips section.

Unfortunately, I think the answer to your question is no. At least I haven't been able to find one. It's still worth checking out the tips section though, I've learned a good deal.

Thanks Merkin, that was my impression. Sure would like a quick way to just 'vacuum' up a room full of items (see: Marten's Bluff, Hidden Area).

Jerry, I think you jumped the gun a little on answering my question. Not only did I mention that I already knew you can 'right-click' on a character to place an item in your party inventory; but I've read the entire tips section repeatedly and posted there myself too.

I do /really/ like tip about holding CTRL on the inventory screen, though. That's pretty amazing.

Cheers, friends.

If anyone finds a way to do what I'm requesting (vacuuming items up instead of click-move-click) then please post it to this thread. Otherwise, we'll assume it to be impossible. Thanks!
