byt the time you're 50? I'm only 20 and already my hearing is noticeably impaired from too much loud music. I wish I hadn't damamged my hearing so much but ah well it's my fault. The real drag is that seeing as my ears arn't as good as they were in order to get any feeling of power out of my stereo I need to turn it up even louder and end up damaging my hearing even more.

At home, I like it LOUD!...that is, when my parents aren't home

In the car, I like it LOUD and SURROUND too.

Can't listen to the soothing intricacies of music any other way...

Correction long enough for me to curse you in public. I play my music loud enough for me and only me to hear it, and if possible I use headphones.

How loud do you go?

LOL...kids....
I came home once to a houseful of loud music and my son's speaker covers lying on the floor...I asked him how they got there and he said, er yelled rather, "Um, the speakers blew them off!"

I'd bought him a 1200 watt Fischer with Dolby Surround sound back in 1995 for his 13th birthday.
I feel lucky that none of the windows broke while I still owned the house.

I don't play music in the house anymore unless it is at and on my computer...just goes to show me and everybody else how lazy I can be...I have a decent system myself about 30 ft. away from my chair.
I do use it for DVD movies

Oh yeah, uss, I'm on top of the world, a few days of monumental pain, years to reflect on how stupid I was trying to punch out, and two weeks of stitches that keep bursting. Wahoo.
But hey, it's all good, I still have a butt that doesn't quit.

As loud as humanly possible.

I have a good hifi in my sitting room with 7 speakers, another in my bedroom, and a good set of speakers with a subwoofer attached to my PC so I can listen while I surf.

I love music, it is central to my life. I can never quite understand people who say they're not really into music. My sitting room floor is varnished wood and it makes a good dancefloor for when I'm in the mood to boogie (usually to Ska, 60s Soul, Motown, etc etc, yes I live in the past!)

At work I put on my headphones, but it has to be quiet so as not to disturb other people and so I can hear my phone if it rings. Listening to The Spencer Davis Group at the moment!

My other music thing is old metal. I swing back and forth between the two!

I have a warning for anyone who gets in my car, I tell them "you had better turn the stereo down." Just ask Azred. I love my Def Leopard, my 80's and my hard rock. Celine Dion and Nina Simon are among those who get loud play in my presence. I love my music and I love it loud. I guess I do it because I like to sing to the songs and I really don't want to hear how bad I sing.
