When i played BG2 the second time i realized one thing.. when you first come to the Copper Coronet. I noticed that Jirdan Firkraag stands there in person as a human and asks you to do a quest for him. But then i talked to him and he disappeared and i thought i must try to kill him.
And now then i started over to play a single char Fighter/Mage/Thief i saved before entering Copper Coronet and i went in.. and tried to backstab him cuz it his the mighty red dragon.. later in the game.. but he casted Dimension Door.. So my thought is if you get a really really good attack.. you might kill him! And then will happen with the big mighty dragon in WIndspear Hills.. or has he very very high HP as humans so it is totally undoable to kill him in Copper Coronet.... Il be pleased to have som replies about killing him as an human in CC.. =) ------------------ ************************ I protect and serve my humble and gentle cousin Frodo from Shire. ************************ |

Then i think its a pity...
My opinion is that you can kill every mean little bastard in the game.. =) If you cast fear or somethink so he cant cast his DD.. Then you can kill him.. Plz.. anyone that wants to try .. reply me cuz it would be a blast to kill hom so early and then go to WH and whats what happens.. =) ------------------ ************************ I protect and serve my humble and gentle cousin Frodo from Shire. ************************ |

A true red dragon if it even botthered to shapeshift to human form (and not send some lackey) if one where to backstab it it would have all of his dragon ,hp, saves ect etc. secondly it would have no qualms of transforming and killing everyone in sight before flying the coop. FirKraag is more of a lawful evil than Chaotic evil then his race. A Red dragon woudn't care about trying to steal ownership of lands a Red Dragon would take lands and dare anyone to try and take it.

If you really want to see, you could do the EnableCheatKeys() and then the CTRL-T or CTRL-Y whichever it is that whacks about a thousand hit points off, and see if it matters. I saw on another post that items on characters (like Imoen's belt in Irenicus' dungeon, and certain rings which don't show up on the treasure screen) prevent the death of plot-dependent characters. Smack him and see!

there are all kind dragon, and there is NO standard for the behaviors of a TRUE red dragon. one can argue Firakaag is the true red dragon and others are not, but anyway, you see the point.

There are a number of characters that have their 'time' of death. Attempting to destroy them prematurely is futile. (Thankfully, or the game would be ruined.)

A good example is Imoen in Joneleths dungeon

Hmmm...
1. No cheating.. hate and i will not even try... 2. Getting angry, i think BioWare has destroyed the game little by that.. you must have a chance to kill him in CC.. that way you make the game more realistic.. what happens in WH you could just imagine.. but its a pity you can not kill him in CC.. and that makes me furious that BioWare havent thought on.. Well thats just my opinion but BG2 still rocks the world.. =) And excuse me for my bad english.. =) ------------------ ************************ I protect and serve my humble and gentle cousin Frodo from Shire. ************************ |
