A mythallar, or mythal, is a weave of protective magic that was cast to protect an elven cities. Only the greatest practitioners of elven High Magic were capable of casting a mythal (Elminster in Myth Drannor being the exception of course).

ohh, Mythal, lol, thanks man, I didnt know Mythallar = Mythal just little flaw though Mythallar was invented by a human arcanist named Ioulaum in -3014, it was after human abandoned High Magic after they discovered Nether scrolls from Avryandaar ruin (an ancient elven city). He also created the first magical item to use Mythallar. With Mythallar, Ioulaum created the first floating City Ioulaum's enclave in Netheril. The rest of the time was known as Mythallar Era, Netheril human arcanists created countless floating cities with Mythallar. thanks |
