i love using the deadric cresent and the ice blade of the monarch.
the cresent deals out a massive 20-50 damage and paralizes the creature for 10 seconds. unfortunatily ive found that on high lvl creatures you sometimes paralize yourself. are there any other weapons out there that are good or better?

Daedric War axe: 80 dmg
Daedric Dai-katana: 70 dmg
Daedric Mace: 70 dmg

I've got 100 in axe and blunt weapons, so I'm using the quest-sword you get from the insane guy east of Suran to get my long blade up to 100.. what's his name? .. it does 50 in dmg and has soultrap..

Mine is Goldbrand ( one handed long sword ). I got it when doing quest for one of the statue. I forgot the damage it does though.

My favorite weapons would have to be:

-Wild Shardblade and my brand new Deadric bow with paralyzing arrows

hit em with a few good shots with a bow and paralyze em from a distance then run up with my Shardblade and finish them off and they cant even move... good for a low HP Khajit assassin/thief like me

calm is better than paralyze
it turns them nonagressive. they just stand there while you beat them to death. And calm cant be reflected back at you. and on npc's you can talk to them after you calm them and persuade them up to a high level and they wont fight you when the spell wears off. you would be surprised how many of the npc's that attack you on sight can train or barter or whatever.
(just dont use a calm on strike weapon against a gaurd or ordinator, that is very annoying)

Good tip there, slackerboy. My enchanted paralyzing sword always seems to paralyze myself when going against high level monsters (those Ash monsters).

Any tip on how to get some cool deadric/ebony weapons? Currently I only have 2 deadric short sword and a deadric staff but I prefer to use one handed long blades.

I only have several weapons but none of them are considered fatisfactory. I have:

1. Sword of White Foe

2. Nordic Broadsword (fire damage 15 pts)

3. Imperial Broadsword (Paralyse Target 2 secs)

4. Dwarven Claymore (Paralyse Target 3 secs)

5. Deadric Crescent

I have a Daedric Dai-katana and use that most of the time now. It has no enchantments yet but the calm spells sound great. (I have a grand soul gem with a winged twilight just waiting.) My enchantment skill is at 49 now -so it wont be long before I try enchanting it again

The Spark Mauler is good also.

Daedric everything, goldbrand, umbra, ice blade, crescent, chrysamere, eltonbrand, and my handy dandy funky little fork of horriplation.
