The time has come the Walrus said
For to bid you all adieu
I've 20 hours of flight ahead
To the land of "Ach the noo"

For Scottish shores do beckon
Aye the bunkers, whins an gorse
And the "fine soft day there havin"
Oft has winds that reach "gael force"

No truer test in golf they say
Can be found in all the worl'
Than the struggles with the mighty links
In the lands where cabers hurl

And when the 5 week battle
Is oer, and I return
I'll be back to dis here forum
And I'll share what I did learn

Bye all - see you in 5 weeks .

You take care Davros - I hear it can get very chilly around the Trossachs!

Glad to see your poetry skills have improved.

Thanks Cloudy and Donut. Hmm, Trossach's, OK, I will watch out for that . And what do you mean my poetry has improved - surely that wasn't a patch on my critically acclaimed "Ode to Donut"

Enjoy your visit. If you get the chance and are around the Aberdeen area some weekend, drop me a line and I'll let you buy me a pint

Have a nice trip, enjoy the beautiful countryside and the single-, double-, and whateverthereismalt whiskey. And don´t forget to bring a picture of haggis when you return. (I never even tried to imagine how it looks)
