Good gods no! Any such acquisitions are precisely what we are trying to avoid. The report merely claims that SSD thinks there is some amount of evidence pointing in your direction. Unless you were planning to make a confession right now, none shall name you Mr. Baggins' abductor nor one of the kidnapper's henchmen. Certainly not while the investigation is not yet completed.

Hmm - I'll suggest that you find a good lawyer somewhere in Baldurs Gate, to plead your cause.

And by the way, eventhough we are all suspects in this 'case', rumours are running fast. It is well known that rumours sometimes are able to turn a case, and 'brand' an 'innocent' (the term 'innocent' is here use for 'a person whose guilt is not yet proven') as guilty - especially if the 'innocent' is behaving as a 'bad' person (the term 'bad' is here used for a person that is not behaving as a 'bonus pater' (ie. a 'good father')).

In other words: Get that lawyer NOW!

Dear All,
I, dragonshadow, are now fleeing the country to go and live in Australia, where you cannot get me.
Thankyou.

Wot?
Wot's wrong with me going there?
Okay, America.
It's got nice weather, and none of you can get me there, can you.
(Mwahahahahahahaaha)
Not that this proves that I kidnapped him, of coarse.

Alas, my esteemed commrade Dragonshadow, you seemed to have forgotten that the Chair ordered the doors to the Senate Chambers sealed. We cannot leave, and he did not accept my motion to move our deliberations to the "Mermaid" establishment. Besides, I would not be overly concerned about the hypothetical situation video that was just presented to the Senate. While founded in fact, it does contain some conjecture that no jury of your peers would deem sufficient to convict you. But I must also raise the issue of the confirmation of this atrocity at Area 51. What evidence do we have to consider? Where are the sketches? Where are the field measurements? Where are the body counts and where were the bodies found? I must insist that we have all the evidence in hand before we conduct the investigation. We must gain access to the educational transcripts from the institutions of learning that Grungi attended - perhaps his reputedly poor skills at spelling are simply heresay. Likewise we should obtain Mr. Baggins' financial records, as the ledger books from Area 51 are yet to be accounted for.

I hereby prove that Mr. Dragonshadow is not a real person, but merely an old scratched LP record that got stuck in the same track
