nah... bridges were actually easier than I thought.. and Mada's a piece of cake (of course I've taken all of my characters from wizards all the way through each and every possible role-change I can at the moment... so all skills are maxed at 12 except Sorcery which is sitting at 11 on most. Of course I'll probably run into trouble when I max Sorcery to 12 as I don't know if I can 'pick up' a fighting skill to dump raise points into... will have to see... but it has definitely been interesting)

My party:
2 Samurai (One is the Chosen one, the other female and will be my Valkyrie)
2 Ninjas (one is already the Assasin)
2 Monks (one will be the Chi-Master)

It's mainly hack&slash for me now as nothing can really stand toe to toe with me... not even the Temple Guardians or the Protector of Isis (dragons). It does make it a bit more boring but I do enjoy the puzzles quite a bit.

Agreed. Once you get to the point where nothing can really kill you, a lot of the excitement of the game starts to cool down. The puzzles and challenges are what make the rest of it fun.

posted by macoati .. and Mada's a piece of cake
I'll agree with that...I've killed her 3 times.

The funny thing is ....I've Never seen her.
The first time I found her ...I did not have the Staff of Death yet. Some how I managed to walk up to door, in just the right spot and could see through a small crack between them. When I saw something move ...I clicked on it...I heard a moan...Ooouu, and saw 'Mada takes 6 damage' . Now, I do it the same way every time...just for Grins...

Macoati, your not the first person to miss a lever. I've been looking for one for 3 days in Anaphas tomb, I eventually had to go to Xignal's walkthrough to find where it is. Hopefully I can complete the tomb tonight.
I never met Mada either it is easier to kill her through the door.

Yeah... I couldn't really believe that I missed it. I've been RPG'ing for so long I figured I just HAD to have screwed something up. I remember W6 and the drawbridge puzzle...took me days to figure that one out... and how many times did I map the River Styx before I realized it scrolled...what 5? Oh well, Anephas now breathes again so I'm off to Cet's place to play with the Black Fire... (yes, used the walkthrough to make it go a bit quicker ) (edit) As for Madda, since I had the staff I was able to open the door... she's just a vamp... a really dead vamp now (grin). (end edit)

I did have one trouble spot though... had to find another ornate obelisk since it seems I ran out of them...fortunately they are plentiful in the Shrine

hey macoati!
well, just in case you didn't know (i dun know whether you haf done this already or not but wat the heck!).
the level 12 lock you said that was inside skull castle, there IS a way to get it open but it might require some money n searching.
if you have a warlock or a wizard or maybe a priest (MAYBE...), go and find the following amulets: amulet of holding, amulet of silence. there could be more.
have your warlock/wizard "invoke" (right-click on item n click the icon which looks like lightning flashing around a sword) it. that "invoker" will most likely gain a 1 permanent point increase in strength, so keep on doing this and your warlock/wizard will reach max. strength and you can use that warlock/wizard to "bash" that level 12 lock and it will IMMEDIATELY open. hehheh that was wat i did!!!
go n kill the redleg ratlings or watever they're called, they tend to carry lots of these amulets........ENJOY!!!

LiOnHe@rT,

Already picked the lock in the study... my real problem was not actually seeing the lock on the right side of the door that leads into where our favorite Lich is... I was temporarily insane I think
