Thoughts, opionions, comments.

It appears that we might have a "WWF" personality setting forming in NASCAR?

I'm not a #24 multihued paint fan, but I'm not a hater either. But, we all know that Tony will not/does not yield. So when #24, clipped the front of #20 and both went to the wall, #24 claimed 50% blame. This is a monumental event folks! Gordon HAS NEVER done anything wrong, much less admitted to it on voice over radio. Stewart, said nothing, continued to drive, and was headed back to the lead. No complaints, radio quiet, just needed tires and gas.

Then, here comes #17 Matt Kenseth, taking the inside, and #20, completely and blatantly, charges him down off the apron, and spins him across the field, and into the far side turn wall, starting from 190MPH. At that point, I lost all respect for #20 Tony Stewart. Totally uncalled for. Later in the intreview, his smug remark about well "Matt's that way, he should think back to when he got into my side in turn 2, he started it, I just finished it". Yes, buddy, you did finish it.

Sure there were other accidents, and what not, but none as blatant as that. I went oustside into the snow pack, dug a hole, placed some dried scrap wood in the bottom, squirted about 1/2 bottle of 'lighter fluid' into said pit, and dropped a match. Once everything was good and roaring, I threw in my #20 Ball cap, Flag, and offical NASCAR jacket. Then I went online and became a no-longer in good standing member (ex-member) of the Tony Stewart fan club!

But gosh damn, he can drive. Even after the damage, the penalties, going to the back of the longest line (twice), which included the running over equipment incident, he stilled finished 5th. No complaints about the car, just flat out driving!

Well anyhow, I've got $300 in the office pool on #20 for the season! Will investigate the options of being able to select another driver tomorrow.

What a story!
