Did anyone play with 2 chars?
First, I've finished the game with 6+ chars, then with 3 chars. Now I'm playing with only two chars (Absolutely No Recruiting). My party - Alchemist (Elf)--> Ninja at Lvl15 --> Fighter at Stealh 125, and Mage (Gnome)--> Samurai at Wizardry 125. Now I've completed ~ 1/3 of the game, and there were no (BIG) troubles. My mage is at Lvl 17, my Alchemist became Ninja, and I have no strong items. Almost any battle may last over 30-60 rounds, and each of them carry out a lot of skill advances...
I'm interesting in same experience of other players.

Have done several 4 persons, and am considering a 2 if I play this again, probably a ninja or valkery and a samurai...

Several of the frequent posters here have finished solo games, I remember some saying they'd done so with a ninja, a fighter, or a bard [that sounds a little too though for me,though...}

No trouble with two people? Have you faced off against that (forgot her name) - the one that drops the vampire heart? (Ya know, top of the hill, has all those siges, death knights, etc)

Yes. Fighter and bishop.
The idea was to have the bishop do all the buff spells, and maybe some extra protection spells during combat. Then he'll probably die, and the fighter will resurrect him afterwards. To keep the lonely fighter alive during battle, he'll use the vampire chain.

To my surprise, the bishop died very rarely (even in expert mode). I don't remember having to reload at all after the first part of the game. That is, after i took a level as a rogue to get stealth. Thought i need it, but it was way too easy after this.

Last time i saw them, they finished their sight-seeing trip to ascension peak. Now it would be about time to find the artifacts.

Dual Bishops. Twins~ Brother and Sister. it was fun and challenging. some areas required me to play 'em over and over, and had to do a lot of planning alongside LOTSA running. (know when to charge and when to retreat)

it was a good game, tho. i only played it after i had been thru the game 2x and knew what i was in for. if i had used that as my first team, i woulda thrown up my hands and/or tossed the disc out the window. as it was, i was just doing it to see if i could.
