ok *cracks nuckles* restart your computer in safe mode (hold down shift when it restarts), go to system properties and scan through the drivers you have on your computer, if there are any old/unused ones kill (delete) them.

Next try searching for the ddl file online, there are quite a few site that do nothing but host this type of file, paste it in your windows/system folder overwriting the older file, hopefully that will sort your problem there.

For Rouge Spear I suggest backing up your save games and re-installing.

Hope some of this works, either way it may be time for a reformat of your hard drive (I try to do mine every 4 months or so).

NExt time Djinn, get Win2k Pro.. And install it over ME, choose to upgrade the system. That way all your data can be backuped, then you make the serious installing of Win2K. OKI, you need some patches and drivers, but now thoose patches are uptodate. Believe me, I´m a former Win2k and ME sceptic. Still a ME sceptic. It behaved as badly as I suspected for me. Win2k however is great!

Has worked real well and has so far given me very few problems!
