Ok, coming toward the end of the game. Gotten myself a little stuck though and I'm in need of some answers.
#1-I killed Oakenmire and he dropped one seed. I completed his quest with one character but the guy seems to still require seeds for each questing character which is contrary to all the other quests. Am I screwed cause I killed the tree? #2-The Innkeep mentions a treasure map in Braeloch Roon to a sunken treasure. I've searched in vain, no luck. Any tips? #3-I'm at the point where I need to get into the sunken city, but I can't find any crabs that drop conch shells, and therefore cannot turn them into the guy at the docks to make breathing suits. Am I doing this quest right? Thanks folks... |

1) Explore the far western portion of the Lost Isle for Bark Horrors. They drop seeds when killed.
2) Do the Pawn Shoppe quest to return Talrik's hook and the old pirate will pony up the map. 3) Yes. Do a lot of sailing and swimming with spawn rate set to high. If you have a good scout he can alert you to their presence on the ocean floor. And if you have a good thief you can sometimes pickpocket the shells from the crabs before you kill them. Also, there are a couple of land crabs that usually drop a shell in the sandy cove west of the Brimloch Roon harbor. Xignal |

No Bark Horrors present. Are they supposed to be to the west of that Pyramid? And are they rare spawns or something?
For underwater travel...do I need the helmet and the shell-breather thing? Or will one do? And will I need them in the underwater city itself? |

Ok, now I can't get past the first door in the Colisseum. I flick the switch, swim down the hall, and nothing. Just a door that won't open...

The Bark Horrors are usually very aggresive in the Pyramid area; I've always found a couple at least near the western trees.
Breathers and helmets for everyone underwater. I've tried doing without and many of my party members drowned. There are several air pockets within the city but not enough to make it easy to explore. Try examining the large temple-like building's foundation for another entrance - you're now at the one-way exit from Collasium. Xignal |
