I got all my CDs when I went back home. Months without them was too horrible to express.

Anyhow, I just put on Chicane.

Instantly I was back in the Northern Beaches of Sydney, a place I lived for six months 18 months or so ago.

I was in my half-house on a small mountainside, surrounded by the lush wet foliage. Trees everywhere, a wide view through plants of the south towards the ocean and islands.

Slate floor, dark wood kitchen, windows covering one half of the house.

It was a paradise.

Then I was driving down the road from it towards everywhere. Sydney, the beach, the studio, the college, a gig. Overhanging trees, wet rocks. Beautiful.

The emotions of the time came back as well, though not as strongly as times before.

I am healing.

It's interesting that healing from divorce can perhaps be measured by the strength and length of weeping.

There was one track that would gut me. I'd be a heaving wreak buckled over containing inner screams that would have shredded my vocalists throat.

Today on a black leather couch over white tiled floors in the exotic Singapore, nothing. I only really remembered the beauty of the Northern Beaches, the paradise. The darkness was fleeting. Gave the positives a certain tonal colour. A certain shade.

Peace.

Life is such a ride.

just beautiful

I cannot understand the depth of ...pain you endured (I wish I will never go through that) If weeping helps, then weep, weep away all the hurt, all the anxious, all the scars, all the remorse. I want to weep with you, if only for myself and for the person I love. Some say it "the moment of weakness" while I say it the moment you let go all the pains you hold on to.

I still have a tough ride ahead of me, but I do not fear it. I walk with my heart, and so do you.

**hugs**

God Bless

Leo

Yorick my friend, my heart goes out to you. I will not tell tails of my own divorce many years ago, and my own senses of incredible loss and anguish during those years of acceptance. But please know that many of us share your pain and have the utmost faith in your ability to heal and perservere. All my best wishes to you mate.

My sympathy too you Yorrick.

Music is indeed a powerfull thing, it can make you think, feel, laugh, get angry, depressed.

All kinds of things. It can and will bring out all kind of emotions.

Lesting to music at critical times in your life can be a good and bad thing.

It will help you at the time, but once the point in your life is over, the song will always be attached to that moment.

And when you hear it again it will take you back.

One moment I will never forget was about a year or two ago, Me and my closest cousiens wear seting out side lesting to Nirvana , The song Polly to be excact.

We wear reflecting on life. I will never forget the conversation, now every time I hear Polly I am reminded of the conversation and its point.

Music is indeed a powerful thing.
