Got a strange one; laid a whole bunch (40+) of snares down in the Waukeen's Promanade (sp?) now when I attempt to bring up the map my computer crashes... hard.

I figure if someone knows where the file is that keeps the map notes for that area, it could be replaced maybe??

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated - Thank You!!

edit: traps already sprung - thx!

Just set the traps off man. Summon and animal, monster, or invisible stalker, and make them aggressive towards you.

Thank you for the suggestion however...

I didn't explain it enough, my apologies. That doesn't seem to be the problem.

All the traps have been sprung. I believe it may be the number of notes left on the map area may have something to do with it.

I've also tried resetting configuation, leaving area & returning.
The other areas (slums, temple, etc.) still work of course. I suppose if I never use the map in that area again (with this game)... but I'd really rather if possible.

Have you had to reboot? That should have cleared the memory, and fixed the crash. There are a considerable amount of notes on the map already, and I have never heard of that causing a crash. Does it give you any specific error message?

I have to reboot every time this happens. My guess is that there are too many "set snare" comments per note "space" since I laid many very close together. I've never had many notes cause it to crash either, assuming the notes were a few lines long each. And no, it does not give me an error, just freezes. Attempting to ctrl+alt+del kicks me to a blue screen, usually it says 'system not responding...', etc.
Thanks for the try tho'
