Bauble Stick in the Crypt

...HELP.. I have been what I think are all the places I can be right now in the Crypt. Talked to the crypt keeper about the stick and rats. nothing has changed. It looks lik ethe "angel statue" in the floor above has moved forward but you can't push it.

I would appreciate a Spoiler/Cheat as to how to get those keys and that crystal so I can move on.. Please help

What are you doing with your bauble stick. It is necessary that you not equip it when you USE it on the crystal (or was it the other way round, and it's necessary that you equip it - nope, sure that original was right). Don't bother about the keys, you can't reach them. Remember then for later though, because guess where you will be exiting from the asylum. That's right, through that same portcullis.

swim down to the grate where the keys are. There is also a small crystal on the other side of the grate. Use the bauble stick to get the crystal. The crystal will operate something that isn't working.
