well Im wanting an ipod, so I figured ebay was the place to start. I was looking through the listing and I found this Now I thought, jees this must be a con, and I read all the info and the reviews Now Im not sure about this ebook stuff, never really tried it before, so I was wondering if anyone has, and what you all make of this? Any help is appreciated.

Tell me what you think and also tell me if you think i should bid for it.

Thanks
Ross

When thinking of bidding for something on ebay, always look at the seller's feedback to see whether he/she has a lot of positive feedback compared to negative or whether there is a lot of feedback from people in the same area (that isn't good).

EDIT: Just looked at his feedback and it looks decent enough.

It reeks of scam if you ask me. You pay for the e-book and it comes to you blank. It ranks up there with the bag of hurricane wind and the unused new folder

Just thought to add the age old saying "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is."

Not quite as good as this one I found where if you send him $8.99 to his paypal account he'd tell you how to get all of Apple's products 25% off.

Anyways, I looked at a lot of the reviews. Mostly similar stuff posted. I noticed the guy posted positive "A+++++!!!" reviews for a lot of the people who reviewed him.

Seems fishy to me though. Buying an eBook so he can tell you how to get stuff so cheap it's unbelievable.

I wouldn't trust a seller who's only been a member since 20-Feb-04.

Prompt response, but would apear to be more like a pyramid selling system
Which is what I instantly thought of.

If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, its a duck.

Similarly, if it involves getting cheap prices by getting other people further down the chain to pay for part of it, its pyramid selling and most of the people involved will lose out.

As described but wouldn't recommend these schemes... someone has to loose out

Looks good and legit, will have to wait for my name to come up to my iPod

useful information, looking forward to getting to top of list
See. Pyramid selling, or a relative.

Read what he is talking about. Heis sending you an emails saying to buy a certain phoe, probably a mobile for a large amount. As an 'upgrade' you will get an iPod for £20. Now go look for the offer over the net.
